TRANSFI FACES NEW CHAPTER
Welcome Fr Ronnie J. Santos!! - (Jenny L, 25 Jan) Transfi welcomes our newly appointed parish priest, Fr Ronnie Santos. He came from the parish of San Antonio de Padua which he served for 6 years. This was his very first parish as he was assigned to it only 4 months after his ordination, so it holds a very special place in his priestly heart.  He graduated from the Holy Apostles Seminary which specializes in late vocations. During his first Sunday masses at Transfi last Jan 22, he introduced himself to the parishioners and talked about letting go and trusting in the Lord (pagkapit at pagbitiw) despite uncertainties and doubts about the future. Jan 15, Feast of the Sto. Nino - Fathers Ronnie and Dennis concelebrated the 4pm Children's Mass on this feast of the Young Christ. This day of the Sto. Nino holds special meaning for Fr. Ronnie, as he remembers visiting Transfi as a young seminarian during this same feast many years ago, the warm welcome  of the parishioners and his delivery of a homily in behalf of the priest presider. And in the homily for the concelebrated mass, Fr. Dennis holds up the Christ Child as an example of trust in God, that everything will turn out right as we place our lives in His hands. | Maraming Salamat Fr. Dennis sa mistulang walang katapusang mga despedida, mula sa pamamaalam ng Youth Ministry nuong January 8, sa Parish Send-Off nuong Jan 13 Friday, sa COMLEC farewell party sa bisperas ng kaniyang pagalis, hanggang sa pagdalo ng Transfi sa unang misa niya sa Our Lady of Pentecost Parish nuong 20 January. Fr. Dennis hindi ka namin malilimutan, mananatili ka sa aming puso saan ka man pumunta. Transfi Loves You!  |
