EL SHADDAI
Who doesn’t know about Mike Velarde’s El Shaddai? They started in early 80’s and it didn’t take them longer to have so many followers all over the world until it reached our very own Brgy. San Roque in1995. They used to gather in the premises of our public market despite the presence of both vendors and buying public. Bible reading, singing praises to the Lord, sharing experiences, and worshipping Him and other activities are best offered by the group.
It was formally recognized as one of the organizations in the parish when Fr. Jun Pascual asked them to join the church activities apart from their mother church in AMVIL, Sucat, Paranaque.
Holding intercessory outreach program, household Bible sharing, helping the needy, visiting sick person in the community, and holding formation seminars are some of the activities being embraced by the group.
The group hold its prayer meeting every Monday at 7pm and will celebrate its 14th year anniversary on September. Sis. Ofelia Bautista is the coordinator of the group.
