New Year brings new hope for all !
January - February 2021 

As we begin this year with hope in our heart and pray that we will all be healed and protected by Covid-19 with the promise of the new vaccine. This year also Fr Jojo will be transferred to a new parish and we will have a new pastor to replace him sometime this June to August. 

We will prepare for the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord on Feb. 2 Tuesday.  You can also bring candles for blessing at the beginning of the mass.  On February 11 World day of the sick and Feast of the Lady of Lourdes we will have a healing mass.  Feb. 17 Ash Wednesday will take place, a day of fasting and abstinence.  Mass will be announced soon.

Ayuda during the Quarantine period
April to May 2020.

Since the start of the quarantine period and like a good shepherd, Fr. Jojo, the Transfi Team and some barangay volunteers, have been going around the neighborhood of San Roque distributing relief goods and 1,000 peso gift certificates from Caritas Manila without any bias for race, culture or religion. Our community is also grateful to the Tanging Yaman Foundation of the Ateneo de Manila University under the leadership of Fr. Manoling Francisco, S.J.

In his weekly Saturday Ayuda program, Fr. Jojo is thankful for the unique opportunity that this pandemic presented to meet many of our residents in all the corners of our barangay. Hearing first-hand the sentiments of the people during these trying times was an occasion for personal growth in his vocation and increased love for our community.  

To celebrate Fr. Jojo's birthday and as an act of gratitude to God, anonymous donors from our parish donated funds for the distribution of family-packs of chicken wings to selected parishioners.

More recently, Fr Jojo has launched a new way to help farmers sell their produce directly to the parish in our Gulay sa Transfi program.  Let us continue to help and pray for each other in this time of pandemic!
